iPhone Application

After considering how to make my magazine publication appeal out to my targeted audience, I thought about how my audience are aged between 14-25 and also part of the young generation as they mostly have great influence of technology in their lives, I found it beneficial to include a special iPhone application which would be available for users to download on their Apple devices as this application would include the magazine publication in electronic format and would allow the audience to browse through previous editions of the publication. This application would also my targeted audience to browse through ‘latest songs’, ‘latest interviews’ and also ‘exclusive concerts’ in which would appeal to my audience. As this idea should be able to attract and appeal more to my audience as my research would show below…

From 20 people, I would be asking two questions which would help me decide whether this idea would be beneficial for my magazine publication as this would tell me if this would attract my target audience.

1) How old are you ?

.14-16
.16-18
.18-20
.20-22
.22-25

In this graph you can see out of 20 people
Three people were aged 14-16
Nine people were aged 16-18
Five people were aged 18-20
Two people were aged 20-22
And one person was aged 22-25

2) Which mobile phone do you own ?

. Blackberry
. iPhone
. Nokia
. HTC
. Samsung

In this graph you can see out of 20 mobile phones…
Five people have a Blackberry
Seven people have a iPhone
Four people have a Nokia
Three people have a HTC
And one person has a Samsung

After looking at my results a majority of people use an Apple iPhone and the ages of people I mostly interviewed were 16-18. By finding out the solutions to these two questions, my iPhone application would be based on trying to attract a young market along with my other targeted audience. As iPhones are revolutionary phones which are always connected to the internet so my audience could receive live notifications on news and any subject straight away on their device
