Points To Consider While Designing My Publication

. In my questionnaire an equivalent of both male and female said that they would buy a magazine publication as my publication should now be aimed towards both genders and should be made as appealing as possible.

. When produced my questionnaire it was handed out to a majority of people aged between 15-20. After looking back at my results I concluded that my publication should be aimed at people aged between 15-25.

. In my questionnaire I asked my volunteers 'when would they mostly buy a magazine' and a majority of people said 'after every fortnight', after taking this into account I would be releasing a new edition of my publication after every two weeks so a large number of my targeted audience can purchase my magazine.

. In my questionnaire I asked my volunteers what they mostly prefer seeing in a magazine, the response to this was more people enjoyed reading interviews. This made me decide that in my magazine my double page spread would include an interview of an artist which should attract my targeted audience.

. When asked my volunteers if they enjoyed seeing more text or images in a magazine, the response I got was more people enjoyed reading texts then looking at images, as this made me decide that in my publication I would include more of texts along with images and inserts. As a few images should attract my target audience as images would relate to my article more.

. When asked people what is the maximum amount they would pay for a decent music magazine, a majority of my volunteers responded by agreeing to paying between £2.99 & £3.99. As i reckoned this would be a reasonable price as my targeted audience felt comfortable with this as i decided that my magazine should be priced in this range.
